(Y/N) - Your name
Altair x reader. Just Tell Her
You walked along the streets of Jerusalem, close behind Altair. "Remind me again why you actually want to meet Malik?" He questioned.
You sighed. Feeling a little annoyed at Altair, who seemed to hate introducing you to anybody, was he.....embarrassed by you? "Because, you don't seem to want me to meet him." You teased.
"Why do you enjoy things, I don't particularly want to do?" He asked.
"Can't have everything you're own way now, Alty." You're voice thick with sarcasm
Altair gowned in annoyance. "Huh, watch it (Y/N)." Why did this girl have to be so annoying; so clever, why was she an assassin he had to work with and why, why did she have to be so beautiful. She would always receive looks from men, always getting comments or propositions and always turning these men down. Why did he have to develop feelings for somebody, particularly somebody who seemed to have no interests in having a relationship? No she was like a wild flower, free spirited and truly a beautiful gift of nature. Altair was snapped out of his thoughts by you talking again.
"Besides I have to meet him sooner or later, after all, I expect I'll have to visit the bureau relatively often." You said.
"This is true enough." The two of you continued to walk until, you made it to the door of the bureau. Altair strode in first, and you trotted in behind him. Breathing in the scent of ink; parchment and most of all, incense. Your eyes darted energetically around the room. As a new assassin you were naturally eager in whatever you did. Meeting Malik wouldn't have normally excited you this much though, but for some reason, because Altair didn't seem keen on introductions you felt more interested to meet him. Altair approached a man, who was standing behind a desk. He had dark black hair, very dark eyes and only one arm. This must be Malik, you thought. "Safety and peace Malik." Altair said.
"Altair." The man said giving a nod. "And who is this?" He asked gesturing to you.
"This is (Y/N), a new member of the brotherhood." Altair answered. "(Y/N) this is Malik. The leader of the assassin’s bureau, here in Jerusalem."
"It’s nice to meet you." You said.
“And you (Y/N), Altair has mentioned you. He said you are becoming a skilled assassin." That’s strange; you thought to yourself, Altair never seemed to complement your skill. Then he was hardly the complementary type.
Altair cleared his throat. “Yes well, if it’s okay Malik, we will be staying here tonight. After all its late and we need to be well rested for training tomorrow.” He said. Malik simply nodded. “Oh and Malik I’d like to speak with you, (Y/N) go and find a good place to sleep, get settled in and rest. It has been a long day.” Altair said, in his typically commanding tone.
You sighed. “But I can’t sleep right now, I’m to awake from the day.” You moaned.
“Well just rest or something. Look I need some time alone with Malik, to discuss very important business.” Altair was clearly growing impatient. What did he need to talk about with Malik so badly?
“Very well, it was nice meeting you Malik.” You said, before walking away.
*******
Once (Y/N) had left, Malik turned to Altair. “What is this ‘very important business’?” He asked.
“What? Oh that was just to convince (Y/N) to get some rest.” He said.
A sly smile appeared on Malik’s face. “You seem…….interested in her.” He said, glancing at Altair.
“What?…..What in the name of the brotherhood are you talking about?”
“I think you know exactly what I am talking about, Altair.” Malik stated calmly. “When you first spoke about the girl, you talked far too fondly of her. Altair I am not stupid. It is rather obvious, I’ve listened to you talk about her a lot recently.”
“Well…..Well what if I am interested in her?” Altair snapped?
“Ahh well at least you accept that much.” Malik said, smirking slightly.
Altair looked a little more depressed suddenly. “Ugh, it doesn’t matter anyway, she would never return my affections.” Altair complained.
“For goodness sake, Altair. She is one women, just tell her you like her.”
Altair smiled slightly. “I want to, really I do. But…..” He sighed, his face growing sadder. “But she turns down every man who ever shows an interest in her, I’ve seen her do it. If the man is lucky he escapes without any broken bones.”
Malik suddenly started laughing. “Hahaha, I honestly don’t know which is funnier a women breaking that many bones or the 'great' Altair turning to a soft, scared mush over some girl.” He continued to laugh.
“Malik this is not a joke.”
“That only adds to the hilarity, the fact this is real. Altair really this is completely stupid. Just tell her!”
“It is not that simple Malik!” Altair snapped.
“Yes, yes it is. Look Altair, if you tell her and she painfully rejects you, chances are she would have never loved you. If you don’t tell her you will never know how she feels.”
“I suppose you are right.” Altair said, rubbing his face.
“Of course I am.” Malik replied.
“Its just not that easy, talking to her about that would feel..... awkward.”
“I can’t believe this.” Malik said, putting his face in his hands.
“I know, why is love so difficult? These feelings are so…”
“No Altair, I mean I can’t believe THIS, You! You are acting this pathetic over one girl! Grow up Altair, you’re not 15. Act your age.” Malik said, rolling his eyes at Altair.
“Malik, its….I can’t….you are just…ugh!” Altair couldn’t even reply properly.
The two continued to quarrel, their voices becoming more raised and angry.
*******
“What on this good earth is wrong with you two?” (Y/N)’s voice came from the doorway.
Altair’s face became a little red, but Malik just looked smug. “Nothing.” Altair growled. Becoming more angry.
“Well something is obviously wrong, after all I walk away for a short period of time and come back, only to find you two bickering like an old married couple. Don’t bother lying to me.” You said.
“You should get some rest (Y/N). Altair said, his voice becoming slightly more gentle.
“Yes go ahead and rest; really there is no big problem here.” Malik said.
“Hmm fine. Good night Malik, Altair.” You nodded and left.
*******
“I should rest.” Altair said, starting to walk away.
“Altair.” Malik said, standing next to him. “Just tell her how you feel.”
“Really?”
“Yes even if your behaviour is utterly stupid. You should just tell her.” Malik said, before walking off to his room.
Altair stood alone, thinking. "Just tell her." He murmured to himself.

Time to Heal (Altair X Reader)
Early morning was upon the city of Jerusalem, the sun still low in the sky. You sat in your bureau fixing up the messy book shelves. Hair from that had fallen loose from your braid fell in your face as you picked up the items scattered across the floor. Your work place was a mess, scattered maps and books laid across your desk. You heard a grunt from outside and you didn’t bother turning around. They came in slowly, you could hear their heavy footsteps on the floor. You turned and saw Altair leaning over the counter bleeding from open wounds in his chest and arm. He still clenched the feather in his hand from his mission. He remov

Pronunciation - Connor Kenway x Reader
You’d been living on the Homestead for nearly a year and you had to admit, it was better than anything you’d ever dreamed of. The small community was enough to create a real atmosphere and a sense of togetherness, and with your job working as a barmaid in the tavern it allowed you to get to know the locals as soon as they arrived. You only ended up in the Homestead after being kicked from your job as a barmaid and home in the middle of New York; it was pure luck that Connor had been passing by when he saw your bags being thrown from the tavern window by your mother because you refused to marry a man you didn’t love, followed

With You (Altair x Reader) Part 5
Without thinking, you dove right into the water, cussing in a colorful language. You swam around, trying to find his body. You noticed a lot of white near the bottom, so you decended quickly. You found him, so you grabbed his waist and tried pulling him up. He was a little too heavy for you to carry, and you were running out of air! You grabbed him once more and pulled him up as hard as you possibly could.
Gasping for air, you set him down on the small shore of the river. You scooted near him to check his pulse, only to find nothing.
"Altair! Wake up!" You panicked. You remembered that Malik told you something about the resuscitation proces
