(Y/N) Your name
Altair x Reader First born.
It was two years after your wedding to Altair Ibn-La'Ahad. And about eight months after you had realised you were pregnant. Now here you were being lead to your room with Altair holding your hand, you had began experiencing a lot of pain, and according to a few of the older women you knew, you may very well be going into labour. "Aghhh." You gasped as another wave of pain came over you.
"(Y/N) are you alright?" Altair asked nervously. You only nodded. He quickly opened your bedroom door and lead you to the bed. You breathed a sigh of relief, feeling the softness beneath your body. "I think I should go and fetch a midwife." Altair said, concern filling his eyes.
"Yeah, that might be a....Agrhh... a good idea." You said with pain filled words.
"I will be right back." Altair said as he got up and moved swiftly out of the room, you heard his footsteps fade as he ran down the corridor. You let out a few more moans of pain. Though he hadn't been gone for that long, each second felt like hours. The pain was becoming unbearable, your face and body was now covered in sweat as you let out a few more pained noises. The door was burst open Altair followed by an out of breath old woman and a younger woman, who looked equally out of breath.
"Al..A..Altair help me." You said, the pain just seemed to keep washing over you.
The old woman approached you, and began asking questions, you tried to answer but pained screams were mainly all that came out of your mouth. She shook her head and sighed, turning to talk to Altair. "She's in labour alright, Its okay we'll deal with this. You may leave now."
"What?" Altair said in a frustrated tone.
"Leave, this is not a man's business." She snapped.
"I would never leave my wife. Never." He snarled back at her. Realising his hidden blade as he spoke.
"He can stay." You muttered.
"Fine." She said. "Don't get in our way." The old lady instructed.
"Maybe you could wipe her face, dip the cloth in cool water." The younger woman asked.
Altair began to stroke the cloth soothingly across your face and neck. "You'll be fine, I'm here my beautiful (Y/N)." He murmured softly. You didn't know how much time had passed, but it was nearly dawn when you actually gave birth to the baby. You're body was so overcome with both pain and exhaustion. You could hear voices around you but didn't really understand the words, until your senses became more aware at the sound of a baby crying. You went to sit up, only to feel Altairs hand press gently onto your shoulders, "Shhh just stay there, we'll see our child soon enough." He reassured.
Then the older midwife approached, and passed you the little warm bundle, your child wrapped in the snug blankets. "Congratulations, you have a son." She said.
Joy sparkled in your eyes. You placed a small kiss on your sons cheek. "Would you like to hold him Altair?" You asked, smiling weakly.
Altair gently took the little bundle, holding the baby with such care. "Welcome to the world little one." He whispered his expression one of pure pride, love and joy. The little bundled wriggled in his father's arms.
"What will you call him?" The younger woman asked, nearly hopping up and down with excitement.
"Darim, Darim Ibn-La'Ahad." He said, his eyes never left his son as he spoke. The light of dawn began filling the room, casting a beautiful glow over the new parents with their child. You felt such happiness in that moment.
"We'll give you some privacy." The midwife said as she left to fill a bath for you.
"Are you alright (Y/N)?" Altair said, becoming more emotional, now that you the two of you were alone together.
"I'm fine love." You replied sleepily. You yawned and little Darim did the same. Altair chuckled softly and kissed your forehead. Then you left him with Darim to go clean yourself up with the help of the midwives.
"I'm happy you can be a part of our lives, my son." Altair told Darim, he was so proud, happy and also a little concerned to be a father.
***Two weeks later***
You awoke with warm sunlight spilling through the windows, onto the bed. You felt comfortable in the heat of its glow. But something was wrong, you reached over to snuggle up to Altair, only to find he wasn't there. You sat up, looking around the room. You saw him standing by the window, gently rocking the now sleeping Darim, and he was....singing, a soft lullaby. His voice was deep and smooth, you began to close you're eyes listening to your husbands melody. The next time you awoke you heard Darim, making sweet little noises. You sat up and rubbed your eyes.
Altair pulled you into a hug. "Good morning (Y/N)." Altair said.
You looked over to him and smiled. "Good morning." You sighed contentedly.
"I think Darims hungry." Altair said, chuckling lightly.
You slipped out of the soft sheets and approached Darim's crib. You giggled at his little noises, that began to turn to little cries for food. "Okay, okay, Darim. I'm here." After you feed him, you carried the little bundle of joy over to your bed, then handed him to Altair.
Who smiled with pride, looking up at you then back to Darim. "I'm a lucky man, to have such a kind and angelic wife. As well as a wonderful child." You both hugged little Darim, before Altair placed him carefully back in his crib, then turned to embrace you. "I love you my beautiful (Y/N)." He said, resting his chin on your head.
"I love you too." You smiled, loving tender moments like these with him. He placed a soft kiss on you're lips. Before Darim made a little noise that sounded like a giggle. "We love you too, Darim." You said.
Altair laughed slightly. "That we do Darim, we love you dearly." You both smiled watching the little infant try to squirm in his blankets, until he drifted to a peaceful slumber.

~
You slightly blacked out as Altair carried you to the doctor for help with your injuries. Then you woke back up as you heard the doctor say something about needing to reset a bone in your leg to Altair. Reset a bone? That means your leg was broken. Great. Now you have one more reason to murder the man. Then, you passed back out, though you tried to stay awake. But when you woke up this time, it wasn’t to talking, it was to a sharp, torturous pain in your leg, making you jerk awake.
You couldn’t speak or even think clearly. All you could feel was pain and you screamed from it, it being unbea

You’d been living on the Homestead for nearly a year and you had to admit, it was better than anything you’d ever dreamed of. The small community was enough to create a real atmosphere and a sense of togetherness, and with your job working as a barmaid in the tavern it allowed you to get to know the locals as soon as they arrived. You only ended up in the Homestead after being kicked from your job as a barmaid and home in the middle of New York; it was pure luck that Connor had been passing by when he saw your bags being thrown from the tavern window by your mother because you refused to marry a man you didn’t love, followed

You groaned and stretched, your body soar from bruises and nonstop, tough training. Everything ached. Everything. You rolled your neck a few times and rolled your shoulders, trying to ease yourself of this discomfort. You groaned in annoyance as your attempts to relieve yourself failed and you plopped down onto a large pile of pillows. You sighed and dropped your head back, only to raise your eyebrows in wonder. From your upside down vision you saw Altair on the set of pillows behind you, completely passed out, his face exhaustion itself.
That's when you got the great

This was a request from FireRose333. I hope you like it. To be honest I have never written or even read that many father, son stuff, so this was an interesting challenge to write. Though I actually enjoyed writing this a lot.
Please comment and let me know what you think.
Edit: I adjusted the problem with You're and your and also women and woman, my apoligies about that.
